THE IMPACT OF ERUPTIONS ON THE TERRITORY
In the installation there are three videos that represent the impact of volcanic phenomena on the territory and on human activities:
VULCANIC ACTIVITIES, through films from various parts of the world are described the main volcanic phenomena and their effects on the territory
ERUCTION OF THE 1906 VESUVIO, video by the Troncone brothers, of particular historical importance. It shows images of the strongest eruption of Vesuvius in the 20th century and illustrates scenes from life during the eruption that had particular effects on the town of Boscotrecase.
ERUCTIONS OF THE 1944 VESUVIO, video made by American troops stationed in the airfield of Terzigno and Naples. It illustrates in particular the phenomena of the eruption and the effects on the territory
