Vesuvius National Park is a treasure trove of biodiversity: sea, volcano, mountains, variety of places, beautiful natural views, variety of plants, animals, minerals, many villages each with its history and tradition, make the Vesuvius area one of the most fascinating places to visit. The Somma-Vesuvius is the product of the geological, environmental and anthropic combination that has been consolidated over time and which, with its geographical position, have been an opportunity to make it a land of settlement and agricultural production.
The Vesuvius National Park was born in 1995. It includes the territory of 13 municipalities and has an extension of 8482 hectares.
